This was my photoblog of being stuck back in Nebraska and driving a cab in my hometown of ~50,000. I took pictures of random things, mused at the absurdity of life, pointed out the culture shock of moving back to a small town, and I got a LOT of thinking done. I knew it wasn't forever, but it felt like it was. For a short time, I was the Scabdriver.
Update: For a month or so in 2012 after a 2 month tour of England/Scotland, I returned to Scabdriving as a Crew Driver for Railroad Workers...it motivated me to get the fuck back to Los Angeles. I am now a graphic designer for BrandX with Russell Brand on FX.

Backstory:
I finished college in 2006 and accidentally got a job in LA working for a band on Virgin Records (A Fine Frenzy). For 2 years after that I made a bunch of money designing things that I guarantee you've seen before. I hated it and slowly it ruined my eyes so I joined a band from the UK. I had a lot of downtime and couldn't afford to live in LA while being in a band; so i decided to follow my dreams. To save money I moved back to my hometown after 10 years of being away. After a motorcycle accident burned up my savings, I decided to drive a cab.
